Negative Pregnant at Law Glossary

What is it? A statement made that appears to be a denial but also implies an affirmation of an accusation. For example a defendant may be charged with stealing money by picking it up on a certain date and he may state he did not pick up the money on that date however he does not deny picking up the money.
