Non-competition Agreement

What is it? A contract where an employee agrees to certain restrictions defined by the employer for should the employee stop working for that employer. For example an employee may have to agree not to work for any company that the employer is in direct competition for a certain amount of months or years when the employee quits or has his employment terminated.
