Stalking at Law Glossary

What is it? A crime in which a person knowingly and repeatedly contacts you or a family member without your consent, and that places you in fear of your own death or physical injury or the death or physical injury of a family member. You may be able to get either a Stalking Protective Order or a Domestic Violence Protective Order based on stalking, depending on the relationship you have with the opposing party.
